ABOUT ACADEMY

Bavarian United Academy Program provides young players, U8-U10 (born 2015-2017), with professional coaching, more advanced technical work, and better knowledge of the game to better prepare these players for their soccer journey. The goal of Bavarian United SC Academy program is to increase the technical and tactical ability in these players as well as creating a fun and exciting environment that develops a lifelong love of the game.

 

Bavarian United SC's Academy is a state accredited academy that participates in the WYSA Youth Academy league. These accredited academies provide player development methods that focus on pool rostering of players within the age group for flexible game day play to best develop the individual. Games are played in a festival format with all teams in an academy traveling to the same location on a given date to play competitive games against other area academies.

ACADEMY INFO

  • Training & Games

    Our U8-U10 Academy teams train August through June. All age groups train two times per week at the Bavarian United Soccer Complex. Training moves indoors during the winter months and occurs once per week.


    Academy teams participate in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) Youth Academy league in the fall and spring. Teams typically participate in Indoor Leagues during the winter monts. 

  • Coaches

    Academy Director: John Saleska


    John Saleska is the Bavarian United SC Academy Director. Coach Saleska is in charge of the curriculum & coaches assigned to the teams for these critical developmental age groups. He is also the current head coach of the Wisconsin Concordia University Men's Soccer program as well and holds his USSF C License & USC National Premier Diploma.

  • Academy Open House

    The Bavarian United SC Academy Open is open to committed players born 2015-2017 who are seeking to be placed on an Academy team for the 2024-2025 season. There is no cost to attend. At the open house, players participate in engaging, challenging activities that should provide sufficient to determine if Academy is a good fit.



    Anyone unable to attend, MUST complete registration and note the absence in the comments section to ensure that our coaches consider them for placement on a team.
